Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) in Suffolk, VA. You will provide high-quality care, assist with activities of daily living, and support residents in dining, activities, and mobility.

Responsibilities include responding to calls, planning activities, maintaining confidentiality, and coordinating with nursing staff. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days is required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Organized and able to work with all levels of staff
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs

Responsabilidades

• Reports incidents involving residents and care concerns to appropriate individuals.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed.
• Responds promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Remains calm and competent during emergencies.
• Plans and conducts activity programs for residents.
• Follows confidentiality policies regarding resident information.
• Assists residents to and from dining and activities.
• Checks on residents and ensures attendance at meals and activities.
• Reports status or concerns when residents are ill.
• Communicates verbally and in writing about resident status and appointments.
• Assists new residents with move-in transition and emotional support.
• Other duties as assigned.
