Job summary

Cohen Florence Estates is seeking a Resident Care Assistant for night PRN shifts (11:00 PM – 6:00 AM) in Massachusetts. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities and coordinating with licensed nurses to ensure safety and quality of care.

Must hold MA CNA or HHA certification and be fluent in English. Compensation is $19.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience, with comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a current MA CNA certification or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output; observe changes and report promptly to nursing staff.
• Provide basic patient care under licensed nurses, including repositioning, transfers, and mobility assistance.
• Support residents' quality of life by fostering a positive, respectful environment and encouraging engagement in meaningful activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control protocols and responding to call lights.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment by following infection control protocols, responding to call lights, and ensuring residents' comfort and safety throughout the shift.
