Job summary

Cottagewood is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to provide physical and emotional care to residents on a 17-acre campus. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, mobility support, and encouraging participation in social activities.

Flexible schedules with opportunities for advancement and paid training are offered. No prior experience is required, with CNA experience welcomed. Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits accompany 30+ hour per week commitments.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs and daily living activities as per plan.
• Support ambulation, transfers, and use of assistive devices.
• Assist residents with hearing aids and glasses as needed.
• Encourage participation in activities and provide companionship.
• Document daily in schedules, flow sheets, and communication books.
• Attend in-service training as assigned.
