Job summary

Cottagewood Senior Communities in Rochester, MN is seeking a Resident Assistant for all shifts. The role involves compassionate, hands-on care for residents, assisting with daily living activities and mobility, while maintaining safety and dignity in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to prioritize, organize tasks and manage workload efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as identified in the care plan.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of assistive devices.
• Aid residents with hearing aids and glasses.
• Support residents to reach and maintain independence.
• Provide physical and emotional support to residents.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by RN.
• Observe changes in condition and report promptly.
• Encourage participation in activities and escort residents to events.
• Document daily activities, schedules, and communications.
• Attend required in-service trainings.
