Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in Perrysburg, OH is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant to support residents with activities of daily living and collaborate with the care team. You will assist with ADLs, coordinate with nurses, and respond to emergencies as directed.

This role offers evening hours (10p-6a) with starting pay of $15.00 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, and no certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing in a caring and supportive manner as needed per resident
• Provide supervision, cueing or other non-weight-bearing assistance related to transfer ambulation as needed per resident
• Communicate, coordinate and cooperate with resident needs and team structure
• Work as a team under the supervision and direction of the nurse in charge
• Quickly respond to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge
• Assist residents with various other daily needs as necessary.
