Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Newark, DE is seeking a Resident Assistant/PCA to provide quality care and assistance with daily living activities for residents. You will support meals, mobility, housekeeping, and engagement in activities; report incidents to supervisors; maintain confidentiality, and comply with policies.

CPR/First Aid certification is required or must be obtained within 60 days; evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must complete approved PCA program per state rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and move residents safely.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in rooms and common areas.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Support activity planning and resident engagement.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Report incidents and status to supervisors.
• Assist with move-in transitions and emotional support.
• Follow policies and procedures.
