Job summary

Waltonwood is seeking a compassionate PCA to support residents across daily living activities, medication assistance, and emotional well-being in our Charlotte communities.

You will report to the Resident Care Manager and collaborate with care teams to maintain independence and dignity for residents, while following strict safety and documentation protocols.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, and certification as a PCA in NC; caregiving experience is preferred and valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• PCA certification required in NC.
• Caregiving or Med Tech experience preferred.
• Experience with elderly and memory impairment helpful.

Responsibilities

• Follow medication documentation and restock med carts.
• Assist residents with ADLs and daily living activities.
• Attend shift change meetings and communicate resident status.
• Respond promptly to emergency call system.
• Provide emotional support with dignity and respect.
• Maintain safety and proper documentation.
