Job summary

Wellington Oaks in Greensboro, NC is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and support daily living activities. You will assist with ADLs, monitor health, and promote safety and independence in a nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of care experience, strong communication, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a state-approved PCA, CNA, or caregiver training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and hydration as needed.
• Help residents maintain personal hygiene and comfort.
• Observe and report changes in residents' health to nursing staff and monitor for adverse reactions to medications.
• Foster positive relationships through companionship and engagement in activities.
