Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, seeks a dedicated Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide to provide compassionate care and support for residents in daily living activities.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Completion of an approved PCA program and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days) are required. Join a team focused on quality care and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved personal care aide program.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of personnel and follow instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Uniforms to be worn during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate personnel (e.g., RN/LPN, ED).
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures pertaining to the position.
• Assist residents with daily living tasks and mobility.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning activities and ensuring resident participation.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
