Job summary

Birchaven Village is seeking a Nurse Aide to support licensed staff by delivering direct resident care under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. You will assist with personal care, safety, and comfort, following federal, state, and local standards and Birchaven Village policies.

The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and adherence to procedures, with duties from room prep to inventory stocking and reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Meet the minimum required age of 16 years old.
• Certificate of Completion of a 75 hours NATCEP.
• Active registry as a State Tested Nurse Aide with the State of Ohio within 4 months of hire.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide care appropriate to residents' needs.
• Understand aging-related principles and resident data assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and room preparation as directed by nursing staff.
• Facilitate identification and reporting of changes in resident condition.
• Communicate inventory needs to restock supplies and maintain daily stock.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Demonstrate service excellence and uphold organizational values.
• Comply with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
