Job summary

Birchaven Village seeks a Nurse Aide to support licensed staff by delivering direct resident care, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring resident safety under a Charge Nurse's supervision.

The role requires minimum age 16, active State Tested Nurse Aide registry in Ohio, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will follow policies and participate in maintaining quality care for aging residents.

Qualifications

• Meet the minimum required age of 16.
• Active registry as a State Tested Nurse Aide with the State of Ohio.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide care appropriate to residents in their neighborhood.
• Knowledge of aging principles and related resident needs.
• Ability to assess data and interpret information to identify resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and room preparation as directed by nursing staff.
• Communicate ordering needs to inventory personnel to restock supplies.
• Facilitate changes in resident condition or behavior and report them.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Demonstrate service excellence and align with organizational values.
