Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant or Home Health Aide
• Experience with Alzheimer's/dementia is a plus
• Must be able to speak and read English
• Geriatric population experience preferred
• Follow instructions and establish personal care routines
• Patience and professionalism in redirecting residents
• Adjust to different personalities and situations positively
• Reliable, caring and gentle in touch and demeanor

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Escort residents to meals and activities
• Support residents' physical, emotional and psychosocial wellbeing
• Assist in Wellness area to ensure resident safety, comfort and wellbeing
• Follow policies and procedures and nurse supervisor directions
