Qualifications

• Completion of some high school or equivalent courses.
• None, on-the-job training provided.
• Active and unexpired CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Certified Nursing Assistant preferred. A familiarity and willingness to work with elderly population. Previous elder care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with all resident care needs including toileting, ambulation, bathing and personal hygiene.
• Reports changes in condition to care team promptly.
• Follows the resident's care plan as needs change.
• Assists in dining room during meals and serves residents.
• Arranges residents for scheduled activities and transports them as needed.
• Prepares residents for appointments and escorts to the lobby.
• Delivers and restocks incontinent supplies; handles laundry.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in residents' apartments and common areas.
