Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) in Morgantown, WV to provide quality daily living assistance to residents. You will support residents with ADLs, help with mobility, and participate in activities while maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED, complete a state-approved PCA program, and be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed state-approved personal care aide program.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Able to walk/stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Plan and participate in resident activity programs.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding resident information.
