Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Avery Point community in Short Pump, VA is seeking a full-time accounting professional to manage resident billing and accounts receivable. You will provide customer service to residents as the primary contact for billing, process statements, and collaborate with vendors and departments to resolve issues.

You will use Vision software for resident profiles, maintain census data, and support the Finance Department with G/L reporting and budgeting tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in resident billing and accounts receivable is preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic accounting/finance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents as the primary contact for community accounts receivable and billing.
• Handle day-to-day resident billing inquiries and collaborate with other departments and outside vendors to resolve issues.
• Process monthly resident statements and manage cash deposits; maintain resident files and audit new admissions using an audit checklist.
• Data entry for admission information and update resident profiles in Vision software as needed.
• Maintain daily census and research census data to ensure accuracy.
• Support Finance with G/L reports, correspondence to residents/vendors, and budgeting tasks.
