Job summary

Erickson Senior Living, based in Baltimore, seeks an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead the AR team under the AR Manager. The role emphasizes accurate pre-billing, billing, collections, and cash posting for assigned communities and services with a strong focus on customer service.

As a supervisor, you will train staff, assign work, analyze tasks, reconcile charges and third-party payments, and support monthly billing accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of AR/healthcare revenue cycle experience; 3 extra years if no degree.
• Minimum of 3 years healthcare supervisor/training experience.
• CRCS-I certification preferred.
• Experience with billing for skilled nursing, home health, hospice, rehab, outpatient services.
• Advanced knowledge of billing edits and claims clearinghouses.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and timely pre-billing review, billing, follow up, and cash posting.
• Supervise staff and distribute workload to direct reports.
• Monitor private pay and 3rd party collections; advise on discrepancies.
• Oversee monthly resident billing; reconcile AR data and transactions.
• Prepare and review weekly/quarterly reports, including aging and denial notes.
• Improve billing, collection, and cash posting processes for efficiency; resolve variances.
