Job summary

Great Lakes Management is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant to support residents at Talamore Senior Living in Sun Prairie, WI. The role focuses on delivering hands-on care and assisting with daily living activities in a senior living setting.

You will help residents with ADLs, provide emotional and physical support, and participate in activities while documenting daily care. The position offers shift differentials and a 401(k) match, enhancing overall compensation.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long-term care or assisted living (preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated on the individual service plan.
• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance and engagement.
• Complete all required documentation daily and on the service schedule.

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s):

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands -on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident’s service agreement. R esponsible for effectively communicating with residents, families, and notifying the case manager of any changes in condition or concerns. The Resident Assistant assist s in the dining room and participating in activities and outings .

Resident Assistant Job Responsibilitie s :

• Assistresidents with ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) asindicatedon the individualized service agreement

• Interactwith residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.
