Job summary

LanePark of Huber Heights is seeking dedicated staff to assist residents with activities of daily living and promote socialization. Responsibilities include helping residents with bathing, dressing, and serving meals, all while ensuring a safe and clean environment.

The ideal candidate is reliable, has excellent communication skills with the senior population, and is available for third shift and part-time work. Candidates with MC Dementia care experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing and dressing.

Job Description

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and assisting with meals, following each resident’s service plan while encouraging as much independence as possible.

Serve meals in the dining room or apartments, support proper diet and fluid intake, and honor residents’ right to free choice.

Initiate and participate in leisure activities scheduled in the activity calendar, promote socialization, and help residents form friendships.

Maintain daily resident records promptly and in compliance with company policy.

Keep the environment clean, safe, and orderly; perform general housekeeping and laundry duties with housekeeping assistants.

Ensure residents are aware of sign‑out procedures when leaving the building.

Encourage teamwork, use approved cleaning solutions and chemicals, and follow all procedures to maintain a safe living environment.

Support the community vision and mission, attend required training and development sessions, and maintain confidentiality of all resident or employee information.

Qualifications
