Job summary

Vivie in Minnesota is seeking a Resident Assistant for an evening-to-morning shift (10:45 p.m. – 7 a.m.), full time with every other weekend and holidays. You will support residents with daily activities, meals, mobility, and safety, while fostering a warm, dignified living environment on site.

The role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and compassionate care. Minnesota/Wisconsin CNA certification is preferred; background checks, English proficiency, and non-supervisory duties apply.

Qualifications

• Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification preferred.
• Ability to pass a state-required background study.
• Physical ability to perform duties.
• English reading, writing and speaking proficient.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences.
• Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.
