Job summary

Vivie is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant to support residents in a nursing-focused environment in Minnesota. The role is full-time with a wage of $18.50–$23.65 per hour, non-exempt.

You will assist with daily activities, meals, mobility, and wellness, while maintaining safety and dignity for residents. You will collaborate with nursing staff, supervise activities, maintain a clean living space, and help new residents settle in.

Qualifications

• Clear and compassionate communication abilities.
• A commitment to serving with excellence and integrity.
• Previous caregiver or similar role preferred but not required.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification (preferred/required at some levels).
• Ability to pass a state background study.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English well.

Responsibilities

• As a Resident Assistant, assist residents with daily activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills respecting their preferences.
• Encourage participation in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance quality of life.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping and laundry.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition into their new home.
• Perform other duties to support the team and ensure exceptional care.
