Job summary

Vivie in Minnesota seeks a Resident Assistant to provide hands-on support to residents, assist with daily activities, meals, and mobility, and help maintain a safe, dignified living environment.

The role rewards teamwork and clear communication, with hourly, non-exempt pay. CNA certification is preferred, schedules include day, evening, and overnight shifts, and opportunities may be part-time or full-time with strong benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences.
• Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health or emotional well‑being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.
