Job summary

Vivie is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant in Minnesota to provide hands-on support to residents, including daily living activities, meals, and wellness involvement.

The role requires patiently assisting with bathing, grooming, mobility, and safety, while reporting health changes to nursing staff. CNA certification is preferred; background check required; English proficiency essential. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or similar role preferred but not required.
• English literacy required.
• CNA certification preferred for some levels of assisted living.
• Must be able to pass a state background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences.
• Encourage participation in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance quality of life.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping and laundry.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks.
• Monitor changes in residents' health or well-being and report to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
• Perform other duties to support the team and ensure exceptional care.
