Job summary

Western Home Communities seeks a caring Resident Assistant/Medication Manager for its Assisted Living facility. You will provide direct resident care under nurse supervision and support your team in daily tasks, from bathing to mobility, while maintaining compassionate, person-centered care.

The role includes medication duties for qualified residents and adherence to care plans, with opportunities for professional development in a family-like, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to obtain a Medication Manager license.
• Current active CNA license in Iowa.
• Willingness to obtain Medication Manager certification if needed.
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care under nurse supervision and team support.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Promptly respond to calls and document interactions.
• Administer medications for eligible residents (Medication Manager duties).
• Maintain residents' rights and dignity at all times.
