Sinceri Senior Living is seeking a Resident Assistant to join our caring team at our Lexington community. You will support residents with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members.
• Able to pass the necessary tests (i.e., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc.) if required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility).
• Engage residents in conversation, socialization, and activities while providing personal care.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and provide or obtain assistance as necessary.
• Assist in dining room during resident meal times.
• Encourage participation in scheduled activities and outings and assist as needed.
• Help keep community clean; straighten beds, dispose of trash, tidy rooms daily.
• Assist with resident laundry per shift guidelines.
