Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a Resident Assistant/CNA for the evening shift in our Assisted Living community. You will help residents with daily living activities, maintain dignity, and contribute to a warm, secure environment focused on wellbeing.

Responsibilities include personal care tasks, meals assistance, light housekeeping and participating in a team-driven care plan. Must be 18+, able to lift 50 lbs., and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must have a can-do attitude and enjoy caring for others.
• Reliable transportation and dependable work ethic required.
• Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living assistance with respect and dignity.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making and other care duties.
• Assist residents with meals and snacks, including setup and service.
• Perform housekeeping duties as necessary.

Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:

1. Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
2. This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
3. Assist residents with meals and snacks
4. Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
5. Housekeeping duties as necessary
