Job summary

The Sanctuary of West St. Paul, part of Fairview Health Services, is seeking a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide for its Assisted Living and Memory Care community in West St. Paul, MN. Focus is on personal care, emotional support, and safe supervision of residents in a vibrant setting.

No CNA is required unless under 18 years old; on-the-job training to pass medications is provided. Night shifts, 24 hours per two weeks, and every-other-weekend rotation are included.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers.
• Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population.
• CNA certificate required if under 18 years old (MN NAR).

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with personal cares such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Under Nurse direction, provides health services like medication passing and vitals.
• May perform laundry, meal service, and activities support.
• Observes residents and reports changes to staff.
• Assists with onboarding of new staff.

Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide

The Sanctuary of West St. Paul is looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide who would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior age assisted living and memory care residents’ physical and emotional well-being in vibrant location in West Saint Paul, MN. NO CNA required, unless under 18 years old. Position is also provided on the job training to pass medications.

This part-time caregiver support position includes; 24 hours per two weeks, Night shift, Every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
• Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
• May perform duties that include laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
• Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff.
• Assists with onboarding of new staff.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.
• Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population.
• CNA certificate (MN NAR registry) required, if under 18 years old
