Job summary

Ebenezer's Sanctuary of West St. Paul is seeking a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide to provide personal cares for seniors in Assisted Living and Memory Care.

NO CNA required unless under 18; on‑the‑job training to pass medications; weekend schedule includes 40 hours per two weeks, evenings, and every other weekend. You’ll support bathing, transfers, medication reminders, meals, and activities, while observing residents and reporting status to staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transfers.
• Under Nurse direction, help with medications, glucose monitoring, and vital signs.
• Assist with laundry, meal service, and activity participation.
• Observe residents and report changes to appropriate staff.
• Support onboarding of new staff as needed.

We are conveniently located near Interstate 494 and Highway 52 and public transportation in West St. Paul, MN.

Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide

The Sanctuary of West St. Paul is looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide whom would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior age assisted living and memory care residents’ physical and emotional well-being in vibrant location in West Saint Paul, MN. NO CNA required, unless under 18 years old. Position is also provided on the job training to pass medications. This weekend caregiver support position includes:

• 40 hours per two weeks
• Evening shift
• Every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
• Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as: passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
• May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
• Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff.
• Assists with onboarding of new staff.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.
• Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population.
• CNA certificate (MN NAR registry) required, if under 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course.
