Job summary

Great Lakes Management in St. Cloud, MN, is seeking a Part-time Resident Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and provide compassionate care across morning, evening, and overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred but not required.
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred but not required.
• Ability to make responsible choices and act in residents’ best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated on the service agreement.
• Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement.
• Observe clients and report changes in physical and emotional condition to case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.

Resident Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated on the individualized service agreement
• Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.

• The Resident Assistant observes clients and reports changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, loss of appetite, weight, etc. to case manager.
