Job summary

A senior living community in Saint Cloud is seeking compassionate Resident Assistants. In this role, you will provide essential support in daily living activities and emotional care for residents, helping them lead fulfilling lives. Both full-time and part-time positions are available with competitive pay ranging from $18 to $22 per hour. Experience in long-term care is preferred but not required. Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in long-term care or assisted living residence preferred but not required.
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred but not required.
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions in the resident's best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated on the individualized service agreement.
• Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
• Report changes in clients' physical and emotional condition to case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance and engagement.
• Complete all required documentation daily.

Resident Assistant Job Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated on the individualized service agreement
• Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement
• The Resident Assistant observes clients and reports changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, loss of appetite, weight, etc. to case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.

Resident Assistant Qualifications
