Job summary

Great Lakes Management seeks a Resident Assistant in Grand Rapids, MN to provide hands-on care and support for residents. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, meals, activities, and communicating changes to the care team.

The role offers hourly wages with shift differentials and a 401(k) match as part of the benefits package. Applicants with six months in long-term care or assisted living and CNA/Home Health Aide certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living (Preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated on the service agreement.
• Help each resident reach the highest level of independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the service agreement.
• Observe clients and report changes in physical or emotional condition to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, and communication book.

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s):

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands -on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident’s service agreement. R esponsible for effectively communicating with residents, families, and notifying the case manager of any changes in condition or concerns. The Resident Assistant assist s in the dining room and participating in activities and outings .

Resident Assistant Job Responsibilitie s :

• Assistresidents with ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) asindicatedon the individualized service agreement
• Help each resident to reach andmaintainthe highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
