Job summary

Great Lakes Management is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant for Saint Anthony, MN. This role supports residents with daily living, companionship, and personal care in an assisted living/memory care setting. The position offers part-time regular hours, with on-call shifts and weekend coverage.

Compensation ranges from $19 to $22 per hour, with shift differentials and benefits. As a Resident Assistant, you will assist with activities of daily living, provide emotional support, and help

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long-term care or assisted living.
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Ability to make responsible choices and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated in the service plan.
• Pass medications.
• Help residents reach and maintain independence.
• Provide physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the RN.
• Observe residents and report changes to the case manager.
• Engage residents with activities and outings.
• Complete daily documentation and care schedules.

As a Resident Assistant, you will provide personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living while helping our residents maintain dignity and independence in both an assisted living and memory care setting. • 6am-2pm (every other weekend)
• 2pm-10pm (every other weekend)
• On-call (2 shifts minimum a month requirement)

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s)

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands -on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident’s service agreement. R esponsible for effectively communicating with residents, families, and notifying the case manager of any changes in condition or concerns. The Resident Assistant assist s in the dining room and participating in activities and outings .

• Help each resident to reach andmaintainthe highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assistwith treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement
• The Resident Assistantobservesclientsand reportschanges in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, loss of appetite, weight, etc.tothe casemanager.
• Interactwith residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred)
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interests.
