Job summary

Smith Crossing is seeking a Resident Assistant to support the Nursing team. The role includes daytime and optional night shifts with pay starting at $18.25 per hour, plus $2 differential for PM/Night shifts and 10% weekend pay.

A total sign-on bonus of $2,400 is paid in installments over 12 months, following company policy. Responsibilities include direct resident care, encouraging independence, observing changes in conditions, and maintaining charts and supplies.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Licensure: None
• Experience: 6 months in relevant field

Responsibilities

• Completion of all tasks related to resident care and unit operation
• Encouraging resident's independence and participation in social activities
• Observing and reporting changes in resident's conditions
• Providing compassionate services and guidance to the residents
• Provides daily personal hygiene and care
• Charts electronically and on sheets (as needed) at appropriate times and at completion of tasks
• Ensures all supplies are adequately accounted for and maintains charge book as directed. Accounts for all items used by residents.

Sign-On Bonus

You will be eligible to receive a total sign-on bonus of $2,400, paid in four installments of $600 each. Payments will be made upon completion of 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 12 months of employment, in accordance with company policy.

Full-Time/Part-time Role

AM 6:30am - 2:30pm

Part-time Role

NOC 10:30p-6:30am

Starting pay

$18.25 per hour (Pay is based on experience)

$2 PM/Night shifts differential

10% weekend pay differential for all shifts
