Smith Crossing in Orland Park is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to support residents and help run the unit smoothly. You will provide daily care, companionship, and observation in a meaningful senior-living setting.

The position offers $18.25 per hour (experience-based) with a $2,400 sign-on bonus paid in four installments. A 10% weekend differential applies to all shifts. Both full-time and part-time roles are available with a competitive benefits package.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No licensure required.
• At least 6 months of experience in a relevant field.

Mansioni

• Complete tasks related to resident care and unit operation.
• Encourage resident independence and participation in social activities.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions.
• Provide compassionate services and guidance to residents.
• Assist with daily personal hygiene and care.
• Chart electronically and on paper as needed, at appropriate times and upon task completion.
• Ensure supplies are adequately stocked and the charge book is maintained.

Sign-On Bonus: You will be eligible to receive a total sign-on bonus of $2,400, paid in four installments of $600 each. Payments will be made upon completion of 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 12 months of employment, in accordance with company policy.

Full-Time/Part-time Role

AM 6:30am -2:30pm

Part-time Role

NOC 10:30p-6:30am

Starting pay: $18.25 per hour (Pay is based on experience)

10% weekend pay differential for all shifts

Job Duties include:

• Completion of all tasks related to resident care and unit operation
• Encouraging resident's independence and participation in social activities
• Observing and reporting changes in resident's conditions
• Providing compassionate services and guidance to the residents
• Provides daily personal hygiene and care
• Charts electronically and on sheets (as needed) at appropriate times and at completion of tasks
• Ensures all supplies are adequately accounted for and maintains charge book as directed. Accounts for all items used by residents.

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.

Licensure: None

Experience: 6 months in relevant field
