Job summary

Orchard-Rehabilitation-and-Nursing-Cente in New York is offering a temporary, paid training position to introduce you to our facility and residents as you prepare to join our CNA Class. No experience is required, and you will be paid while training at a rate of $16/hour.

This is a full-time, on-site role with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth. The role includes non-direct care tasks such as bed-making, resident transport, responding to call lights, and delivering

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• US work authorization preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work with residents from diverse backgrounds.

• Seek out relevant information and prioritize tasks.
• Demonstrate appropriate follow-up.
• Perform non-direct care tasks such as making beds, transporting residents, answering call lights, and delivering meals.

Responsibilities:

• Effective in recognizing problems and identifying workable solutions.

• This is a non-direct care position, and some required tasks will include making resident beds, internal transporting of our residents, answering resident call lights, delivering resident food trays and other tasks as assigned.
