Resident Assistant

Pool/PRN Positions Available

Pay rate starting at $17/hour
PLUS $3/hr weekday shift differential and $5/hr weekend shift differential

The Resident Assistant supports our mission and values by providing our residents with personal care, as well as homemaker tasks such as meal service and cleaning.

What will I do as a Resident Assistant?

• Assists with dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, and ambulation to encourage independence, according to resident service plan and established procedures
• Assists with homemaker tasks including laundry, housekeeping, meal preparation, and serving
• Planning and conducting therapeutic activities.
• Supervise self-administration or administer medications per physician order.

What is required in the Resident Assistant position?

• Must be 18+ years of age
• Current and valid CBRF certification preferred.
• American Heart Association (AHA) First Aid certification within 6 months of hire or within 2 years of your initial CBRF First Aid & Choking certification class. AHA First Aid certification is valid for 2 years and then must be renewed.
• Required to become med delegated upon hire and be able to pass meds.
• Ability to use computers for charting and communication.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions within set guidelines.
• Experience in a resident care position, preferred.
