Job summary

Great Lakes Management is seeking a compassionate Part-time Resident Assistant for The Glenn Buffalo Memory Care in Buffalo, MN. You will provide hands-on care, assist with daily living activities, and support residents both physically and emotionally.

Shifts run from 6 AM to 2 PM, 2 PM to 10 PM, and 10 PM to 6 AM, including every other weekend and holiday. The role offers a competitive hourly wage ($16–$24) with benefits, 401(k) match, paid time off, floating holidays, and a free meal per shift.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence.
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated on the individualized service agreement
• Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement
• The Resident Assistant observes clients and reports changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, loss of appetite, weight, etc. to the case manager.
• Interactwith residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s):

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands -on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident’s service agreement. R esponsible for effectively communicating with residents, families, and notifying the case manager of any changes in condition or concerns. The Resident Assistant assist s in the dining room and participating in activities and outings .
