Interim HealthCare Staffing is seeking a Resident Aide in Grand Rapids, MI. This role offers flexible assignments to fit your schedule, with the option to work at nearby facilities and no mandatory weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of caregiving experience or CNA course completion (with references) is preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compassionate, good communicator with physical capability to assist patients.

Responsibilities

• Care for personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, LPNs, CNAs and aides to deliver patient care.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutrition.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, document intake/output and note changes.
• Observe patients and notify supervisor of issues requiring changes in care, medication or equipment.
