Job summary

Interim HealthCare Staffing is seeking a compassionate Resident Aide to support patients in diverse facilities. You will deliver personal care, assist with daily activities and work with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

The position offers flexible assignments near home, with weekly pay and benefits including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, plus a 401(k) plan. No mandated overtime beyond shifts, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• 6 months of previous adult caregiving OR CNA course completion (with references).
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compassionate nature, good communicator, able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers and hospitals.
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs, CNAs and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, and document any changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.
