Job summary

Interim HealthCare Staffing in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Resident Aide (RA) to provide compassionate personal care across various facilities. You will join a team of CNAs and caregivers to support patients with daily activities, hygiene, mobility and nutrition while adapting to different environments.

The role offers flexible assignments with locations near home, no weekend or holiday requirements in some cases, and a pay rate of $18 per hour with quick pay options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of caregiving experience OR completion of a CNA course with references or CNA certificate.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Care for personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes and hospitals.
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs, CNAs and aides to deliver patient care.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming and nutrition.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, document changes, and observe for issues requiring changes in care or meds.
