Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Jacksonville, IL is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide compassionate daily nursing care to assigned residents in accordance with care plans and facility policies.

You will participate in scheduled training to obtain Nursing Assistant certification and support residents with meals, personal care, and daily activities in a family-like community.

Qualifications

• Must possess a 10th grade education; HS Diploma / GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated competencies as a written and verbal communicator.
• Background and experience in shared decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide assigned residents with compassionate routine daily nursing care and service.
• Attend and participate in scheduled training to obtain certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• Assist residents with daily dental, mouth, bath and other care functions as necessary.
• Prepare residents for meals and serve food, record intake of food and fluids.
• All other duties as assigned.

The Resident Assistant provides services to assigned residents in accordance with care plans, facility policies and procedures and at the direction of supervisor(s).
