Job summary

StoneBridge Effingham is seeking a Resident Assistant to support assigned residents in alignment with care plans and facility policies. You will work under supervision to deliver compassionate daily care and participate in ongoing training to advance toward CNA certification.

The role emphasizes resident comfort, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards, with opportunities to grow within a supportive family-like environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum 10th grade education (HS Diploma or GED preferred).
• Be at least 16 years old.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience with shared decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide assigned residents with compassionate routine daily nursing care and services.
• Attend and participate in scheduled training to obtain CNA certification.
• Assist residents with daily care tasks (dental, mouth, bathing, etc.).
• Prepare residents for meals, serve food, and record intake.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide each of your assigned residents with compassionate routine daily nursing care and service.
• Attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes to obtain certification as a Nursing Assistant
• Assist residents with daily dental, mouth, bath and other care functions as necessary.
• Prepare residents for meals and serve food, record intake of food and fluids.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education - HS Diploma / GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Demonstrated competencies as a written and verbal communicator
• Background and experience in shared decision-making processes
