Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Mount Vernon, IL is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide compassionate daily care to assigned residents according to care plans and facility policies. Responsibilities include attending training to obtain Nursing Assistant certification, assisting with daily personal care, preparing residents for meals, and recording intake.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Minimum high school education (HS Diploma or GED) preferred.
• Demonstrated written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate routine daily care to assigned residents per care plans.
• Attend scheduled training and classes to obtain Nursing Assistant certification.
• Assist residents with daily personal care functions as needed.
• Prepare residents for meals, serve meals, and record intake of food and fluids.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Resident Assistant provides services to assigned residents in accordance with care plans, facility policies and procedures and at the direction of supervisor(s).

Responsibilities And Duties

• Provide each of your assigned residents with compassionate routine daily nursing care and service.
• Attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes to obtain certification as a Nursing Assistant
• Assist residents with daily dental, mouth, bath and other care functions as necessary.
• Prepare residents for meals and serve food, record intake of food and fluids.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education - HS Diploma / GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Demonstrated competencies as a written and verbal communicator
• Background and experience in shared decision-making processes
