Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Effingham, IL seeks a Resident Assistant to provide compassionate daily care to assigned residents according to care plans and facility procedures, reporting to supervisors.

The role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing training, and dedication to high-quality care for residents across Rehabilitation, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing services.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Minimum 10th grade education; HS Diploma / GED equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Background and experience in shared decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with compassionate routine daily nursing care and service.
• Attend and participate in scheduled training to obtain CNA certification
• Assist residents with daily dental, mouth, bath and other care functions as necessary.
• Prepare residents for meals and serve food; record intake of food and fluids.
• All other duties as assigned.

The Resident Assistant provides services to assigned residents in accordance with care plans, facility policies and procedures and at the direction of supervisor(s).

• Assist residents with daily dental, mouth, bath and other care functions as necessary.
• Prepare residents for meals and serve food, record intake of food and fluids.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education - HS Diploma / GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Demonstrated competencies as a written and verbal communicator
• Background and experience in shared decision-making processes
