KALESTA HEALTHCARE GROUP in Saratoga, CA seeks an Admissions Director to lead resident admissions in line with policies and facility goals. You will oversee the admissions workflow, coordinating with Nursing, Marketing, and Business Office to set criteria and ensure readiness and proper documentation.

The role requires at least two years of admissions experience, knowledge of medical terminology and billing, and strong data-entry plus clear English communication.

Competenze

• Minimum of two years of admissions experience; knowledge of medical terminology and medical billing; ability to perform data entry.
• Must read, analyze and interpret common scientific/technical information and communicate clearly in English.

Mansioni

• Direct the admissions process for the facility and approve resident admissions.
• Collaborate with Director of Nursing, Marketing Director and Business Office Manager on admission criteria.
• Develop policies and procedures for admissions.
• Be available during business and after-business hours to handle inquiries or admissions.
• Supervise Admissions Assistants; may supervise other positions.
• Develop referrals with Discharge Planners, Case Managers and Physicians.
• Coordinate admissions with other departments and external partners.
• Ensure resident rooms are admission ready and provide tours to prospective residents.
• Complete admission packets with residents or responsible parties.
• Oversee orientation for residents and assist with financial and legal matters (Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, VA, etc.).
• Discuss room rates, billing procedures, and visitor policies during resident interviews.
