Job summary

Dawn Hill Home for Rehab & Healthcare seeks an organized Admissions Director to coordinate the admissions process and support residents and families through transitions into our community.

In this role, you will work with residents, families, hospital partners and staff to ensure complete documentation, accurate insurance verification, and move-in readiness. This position emphasizes communication, service, and compassion within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to work independently with flexibility while collaborating with residents, families, staff, and support agencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals and inquiries and manage the admissions waiting list.
• Welcome residents and families; provide tours and sign-in.
• Handle admissions paperwork and verify insurance; forward to business office.
• Confirm room readiness and coordinate follow-up with departments.
• Communicate with partners and service providers and fax necessary documents.
• Maintain resident information and medical records.
• Support facility operations as requested by the Administrator.
