Job summary

Dawn Hill Home for Rehab & Healthcare in Rhode Island is seeking an organized Admissions Director to coordinate the admissions process and support residents and families through their transition into our community.

You will work with residents, families, facility departments, and support agencies to ensure complete documentation, room readiness, and smooth referrals, while upholding privacy and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• An associate degree in Business Administration or related field is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to work independently with flexibility and integrity while collaborating effectively with residents, families, staff, and support agencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals and inquiries, maintain waiting list.
• Welcome residents and families, provide tours, answer questions.
• Manage admissions paperwork and verify insurance.
• Ensure rooms are ready for move-in and coordinate with departments.
• Communicate with partners and service providers, fax face sheets.
• Maintain accurate resident information in medical records.
• Support facility operations as requested.
