Job summary

Arcadia Care in Morris, IL seeks an Activity Aide to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational and social programs aligned with each resident’s assessment and care plan.

You will help prepare spaces, support residents’ engagement in activities, and promote physical, social, and mental well-being through structured and spontaneous programs.

Flexible shifts include full-time, part-time, and PRN options with benefits and team support in a compassionate long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting for the daily activity programs & quality assurance for the Activities Department.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning up activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
• Assist in overseeing residents’ engagement in scheduled and unscheduled activities to promote the physical, social, and mental well-being of residents.
