Arcadia Care in Springfield, IL seeks an Activity Aide to support planning, implementation and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs aligned with residents' care plans.

You will assist with room setup, oversee engagement in activities, and help promote physical, social, and mental well-being. Prior experience in long-term care is preferred; patience, tact and enthusiasm are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting for the daily activity programs & quality assurance for the Activities Department.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning up activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
• Assist in overseeing residents’ engagement in scheduled and unscheduled activities to promote physical, social, and mental well-being of residents.
