Job summary

Arcadia-Ltc- is seeking an Activity Aide to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational and social programs for residents. You will help coordinate daily activities, chart progress, and support the care team in creating engaging experiences aligned with each resident's assessment and care plan.

The role offers multiple schedules (full-time, part-time, PRN) with benefits and opportunities for tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm when engaging with residents.
• Willingness to adapt to residents’ varying maturity levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting activity programs.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning up activity rooms for scheduled programs.
• Oversee residents’ engagement to promote physical, social, and mental well-being.
