Reliant Care Management Compan seeks an empathetic Activity Director to enhance residents’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being in a long-term care setting. The role requires creativity, energy, and an outgoing personality to engage residents and families.

You will plan, teach, and facilitate therapeutic activities, participate in discharge planning, contribute to care plans, and assist with assessments.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must agree to obtain an L1MA license.
• Previous Activity Director experience in long-term care/assisted living.
• Creative and outgoing/dynamic personality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an on-going program of activities to meet residents’ physical, mental, and psychological well-being.
• Develop, plan, and organize a program for therapeutic groups.
• Teach and facilitate the program to support rehabilitation and health.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Contribute to activity care plans and resident assessments.
